Eating and Drinking

Ashleigh House has a fully equipped kitchen and a superb dining table that will seat up to 20 people, plus extra seating for up to 33 guests.

Alternatively we can arrange for outside caterers to provide you with everything from a simple buffet right through to fine dining fit for a King.

There are also a large number of excellent restaurants and pubs nearby.

Within walking distance and closest is ‘The Crabmill bar & restaurant'. This award winning country restaurant is literally a 5 minute walk from Ashleigh House and has a superb range of amazing food and wine. They also offer Sunday lunch.

Further up the road in the local village of Claverdon is the ‘Red Lion' bar & restaurant. They again provide a superb menu and also have a lovely As Fresco dining area for the warm days & nights.

About 1 mile from Ashleigh House in the opposite direction is the village of Henley in Arden. It is amazing to believe but this lovely Olde Worlde Village has the most amazing selection of Restaurants & Pubs you could imagine.

These include, but are not limited to:-

• The Blubell - Fantastic Gastro Pub.
• Matricardi's- Another superb Restaurant with a slight Italian twist. (lovely garden area too).
• The Black Swan Pub - The place to go for good pub food, disco & Karaoke.
• Sans Oriental - A great Oriental Restaurant serving a superb range of food & wine.
• Thai Village - Lovely Thai restaurant.
• NAYA - A great Indian Restaurant. Won newcomer of the year in Warwickshire.

The above is just a small selection of our personal favourites. There are more pubs, restaurants, an even a fish & chip shop, quaint coffee shops and more.

As stated, the selection and choice is incredible. It only takes 5 minutes to walk from one end of Henley in Arden to the other and by doing so, you walk past approximately 15 restaurants & eateries. All in the quaint, sleepy village of Henley in Arden. A great place.

Venture slightly further out and you have lots of country pubs and restaurants and a few miles up the road is Stratford Upon Avon. The dining choice in Stratford is endless. You will need to book another week!
